- Inputting daily fluid and gas production data.
- Gauging and monitoring tank levels.
- Operating sand traps to monitor sand rate.
- Checking GPUs and production equipment.
- Rebuilding dump valves and chokes.
- Greasing valves.
- Troubleshooting equipment and reporting issues to Foreman.
- ESD testing.
- Pumping water from pads to tanks.
- Mowing and housekeeping on pads.
- Troubleshoot and adjust dump controllers.
- Testing and draining containments.
- Being on call for alarms.
- Making correct adjustments to production equipment and wells to maintain and optimize production.
- Working with wells on artificial lift to maintain efficiency, checking plungers for wear.
- Basic I&E troubleshooting.
- Daily monitoring of on-site compressors and contacting mechanics with issues.
- Operate company vehicles such as trucks and ATV/UTV’s.
- Primarily but not limited to pumping and checking producing and injection wells.
- Checking producing wells and knowing if they are pumping or not.
- Need to be able to set times to make sure wells are pumping to optimize production but not over pumping and causing undo fatigue on well and pumping equipment.
- Need to have basic trouble shooting skills on equipment and electric system.
- Need to be able to gauge tanks and read meters in order to keep production numbers accurate.
- Do morning and weekly report on computer and on paper.
- Change electrical fuses and have to use the proper PPE.
- Monitor water pumps and line pressures on injection system.
- Keep maintenance up on pumping units and water pumps, changing gear oil, greasing pumps and equipment, etc.
- Change belts on pumping units.
- Change motors on pumping units.
- Help contractors change bearings and level pumping units.
- Monitor pipeline and electric right of ways.
- Walking lines jurisdictional and otherwise.
- Testing and draining containments.
- Mowing facilities and well pads.
- Changing injection filters.
- Doing well inspections, these have to be done once a year for WV DEP.
- Follow all safety rules and make sure they have the proper PPE for each task.
- Need to have an understanding of our system and be able to make decisions in case of emergency on shutting valves.
- Doing routine maintenance such as but not limited to packing stuffing boxes and replumbing flow lines.
